Payment terms

No, there are no additional fees that must be paid on top of the booking price (accommodation and final cleaning). 

No, it is of course not necessary to provide a receipt for the accommodation payment, as payment was made online via PayPal or credit card at the time of booking. If payment was made by bank transfer, we can also trace the payment.

Once the booking is confirmed, the full price is due. The landlord reserves the right to cancel the booking and charge a fee if payment is not received, and to rent the property to another party.

For bookings up to 30 days before the arrival date If the trip is cancelled, the holidaymaker or course participant will receive a Refund of 100 %. For bookings up to 14 days before the arrival date If the trip is cancelled, the holidaymaker or course participant will receive a Refund of 50 %.There are no booking fees. For bookings that are later cancelled, the full booking costs, excluding the cleaning fee, will be charged. A refund of the accommodation costs will not be issued. not instead of.

You can cancel or change your reservation in accordance with our cancellation policy. To change your reservation, we need the following information: arrival date, your name, and whether you wish to change or cancel. We only accept Euros as currency.

Tenant's obligations
 
The tenant agrees to treat the rental property and its contents with due care. The tenant is liable for any damage to furnishings, the rental premises, the building, or any facilities belonging to the rental premises or the building, if and to the extent that such damage was caused by the tenant, their companions, or visitors through negligence or intent. Damage must be reported immediately.
 
Internet usage
 

In our apartments, we provide tenants with free internet access. This free access does not constitute a legal entitlement to its functionality. This excludes access to websites that incur separate charges. Access to websites with illegal content is also prohibited. Tenants and landlords agree that any costs incurred due to unauthorized use or use outside the aforementioned scope are to be borne by the tenant. Furthermore, tenants and landlords agree that the tenant must inform the landlord immediately if they become aware, or even suspect, that a paid or illegal website has been accessed. Sending messages containing illegal, violent, or pornographic content via the landlord's internet connection is prohibited. The tenant is liable for any resulting damages.

Using internet access via Wi-Fi

The landlord provides Wi-Fi internet access in the holiday property. The landlord permits the tenant to use this Wi-Fi access for the duration of their stay. The tenant is not permitted to allow third parties to use the Wi-Fi. The landlord does not guarantee the actual availability, suitability, or reliability of the internet access for any purpose. The landlord is entitled at any time to allow additional users to share the Wi-Fi, in whole or in part, or temporarily, and to restrict or block the tenant's access, in whole or in part, if the connection is or has been misused, provided the landlord has reason to fear legal action as a result and cannot prevent this with reasonable effort within a reasonable timeframe. In particular, the landlord reserves the right, at their sole discretion and at any time, to block access to certain websites or services via the Wi-Fi (e.g., websites glorifying violence, pornography, or those requiring payment). Access data: Access is secured. The access data (login and password) must not be shared with third parties under any circumstances. If the tenant wishes to grant third parties access to the internet via Wi-Fi, this is strictly contingent upon the prior written consent of the landlord and the third party's acceptance of the terms of this user agreement, documented by signature and full identification. The tenant is obligated to keep their access data confidential. The landlord reserves the right to change access codes at any time.

Dangers of using Wi-Fi, limitation of liability
The tenant is advised that the Wi-Fi only provides internet access; virus protection and a firewall are not included. Data transmitted via the Wi-Fi network is unencrypted. Therefore, the data may potentially be intercepted by third parties. The landlord expressly points out that there is a risk of malware (e.g., viruses, Trojans, worms, etc.) infecting the tenant's device when using the Wi-Fi network. Use of the Wi-Fi network is at the tenant's own risk. The landlord accepts no liability for damage to the tenant's digital media resulting from the use of the internet connection, unless such damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the landlord and/or their agents.
 
Liability and indemnification from claims
The tenant is responsible for the data transmitted via the WLAN, the chargeable services used, and the legal transactions carried out.

If the tenant visits fee-based websites or incurs any liabilities, the resulting costs are to be borne by the tenant. The tenant is obligated to comply with applicable law when using the Wi-Fi. In particular, the tenant will: not use the Wi-Fi to access or distribute immoral or illegal content; not unlawfully reproduce, distribute, or make available copyrighted material; this applies especially in connection with the use of file-sharing programs; comply with applicable youth protection regulations; not send or distribute harassing, defamatory, or threatening content; and not use the Wi-Fi to send mass messages (spam) and/or other forms of unsolicited advertising. The tenant shall indemnify the landlord of the holiday property against all damages and third-party claims arising from the tenant's unlawful use of the Wi-Fi and/or a breach of this agreement. This indemnification also extends to all costs and expenses associated with asserting or defending against such claims. If the tenant recognizes, or should recognize, that such a legal violation and/or breach exists or is imminent, he shall inform the landlord of the holiday property of this circumstance.

Special notes
 During or immediately after rain, all paths on the property are very slippery. We urge our guests to exercise particular caution.
One of our cats lives on the property and in the adjacent palm garden. She is a tricolor cat named Shila. She seeks contact with our guests. We ask that you treat her with caution, as she sometimes scratches and bites unexpectedly. This has resulted in minor injuries to guests. We accept no liability for such incidents.
All information regarding our house has been provided to the best of our knowledge; however, deviations are possible.
The guest is liable for any damage to the apartment and its contents that occurs during the rental period, even if caused by third parties. Such damage must be reported immediately.
 
Cancellation policy
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Consequences of the revocation
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
